The biometric clock's scanning area is not a hot zone for germs. In fact, restroom door handles, water cooler spigots, and the chairs in the break room are likely to contain far more germs. With facial recognition, you won't need to touch the clock at all. If you are still concerned about germs, you can wash your hands after using the device or ask HR to place hand sanitizer near it. Do you have additional questions about our biometric device? Please contact your manager or the HR department . How does a biometric time clock work? Check out this video for instructions on how to use our biometric time clock. http://bit.ly/2vobaTB Will a biometric clock keep my personal data secure? All of the clock's data is protected with 256-bit encryption – the same high level of security that Canadian banks use.
