3 Adding/Changing Your Profile Photo Adding a photo to your LinkedIn profile adds credibility and helps others recognize you. Recommendation: Your Lync picture is a great professional photo to use 1. Log in to LinkedIn, and you will arrive at your home page. Move your cursor over "Profile" at the top of your homepage and click "Edit Profile". 2. Move your cursor over the photo box to the left of your name and click Add Photo/Change Photo. If you are uploading a photo for the first time, click Upload Photo. You can upload JPG, GIF or PNG files. File size - 10MB maximum. Your photo should be square. The ideal pixel size for your photo is 400 x 400. If either width or height exceeds 20,000 pixels, your photo will not upload. 3. Once you have uploaded your photo, you can: 4. Click Save to save your changes. Change the position and size by dragging the yellow square Choose what your preview photo and thumbnails will look like Select who you want the photo to be visible to. Recommendation: "Everyone"
