So ware delivery should be flexible (on-premise or managed hosted), depending on your business needs as well as your IT resources. Either way,
you will also be able to establish audit trails and implement control policies from a single solu on.
An on-premise solu on ensures sensi ve HCM data is stored and managed internally. It also allows for easy integra on with other on-site solu ons,
such as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) pla orm.
A managed hosted op on provides a secure environment (or data centre) but does not require internal IT resources or infrastructure.
Another benefit is that all of your compliance is now managed from one place, reducing your risk of having to keep data in mul ple solu ons.
A good example of this is the tracking of cer ficate expiry dates. When using mul ple solu ons, HR will have this informa on in their training and
development so ware, but the employee's manager also requires this in their Time & A endance so ware. If this informa on was not entered into
both solu ons then the employee could accidently be scheduled when their cer ficate is no longer valid, pu ng your organiza on at risk should an
incident occur on their shi .
Let's summarize how an integrated HCM works for all of your stakeholders.
A good example is the shared responsibility between the HR and Payroll teams in ensuring the employee is compensated accurately and on- me.
Not only do HR and Payroll need to share informa on about the employee with each other, they also need to interact with the employee's manager.
The manager is responsible for comple ng the performance appraisal which drives the overall performance metrics of the company that HR needs
to report on and feeds Payroll any related results, such as a bonus as a result of an excellent performance review.
