CONFIGURABILITY Payroll is dynamic and o en all about last minute changes and excep ons. Every organiza on has a unique set of compensa on, rules for items like over me and shi premiums, benefit plans, and en tlements. Payroll professionals need to ensure that the HCM so ware selected empowers them to configure a solu on that meets all of your businesses unique needs. 2. AUTOMATION / EASE OF CHANGES Whether your business changes through growth, new collec ve agreements or compe ve market pressure your payroll team needs to ensure that they get a solu on that they can adapt and change to con nue to meet business requirements. Some common challenges for payroll are automa ng retro pay, managing changes that are a result of a new collec ve agreement or implemen ng a new benefits plan. They need the tools to add / modify and test scenarios before taking them live in your solu on. 3. ACCURACY Ask anyone responsible for payroll what their mo o is and you will likely always get this response: "to pay employees on me and accurately!"
